Meet The Team
WU Cong received her B. Eng. degree in Electronic and Information Engineering from Beihang University (BUAA) in 2012 and MS degree in Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering from City University of Hong Kong in 2013. She is currently a Ph. D. student at the Dept. of Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering of the City University of Hong Kong. Her research interests include Micro/Nano-structure fabrication and Micro/Nano fluidic systems.
Meng Chen received his BS degree of software engineering from Shenzhen University in 2009. He worked as an Research Assistant in City University of Hong Kong Shenzhen Research Institute from 2013 to 2015, in City University of Hong Kong from 2015 to 2016, and in Shenzhen Academy of Robotics from 2016 to 2017. He has been pursuing his PhD degree at the City University of Hong Kong since 2017. His research interests include sensing networks, network transmission protocols and machine learning.
Zhang Yuzhao received her Bachelor’s degree in Automation from Hebei University of Technology, Tianjin, China, in 2016. Now, she is currently working towards a Ph. D. degree in the State Key Laboratory of Robotics, Shenyang Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shenyang, China. Her research interests include OEK-based micro/nano manipulation/assembly and functional materials for 3D cell patterning.
Jianfei received his Bachelor’s degree in communication engineering from Tongling University, Anhui, China, in 2017.He is currently a PH. D. student at the college of science in the Changchun University of Science and Technology. His research interests include micro and nano-fabrication and Bionic flexible sensor.
Qiu Ye received her Bachelor’s degree in Measurement and Control Technology and Instrument from Zhengzhou University, Henan, China, in 2018. Now, she is currently working towards a Ph. D. degree in the State Key Laboratory of Robotics, Shenyang Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shenyang, China.
Zheng Jianchen received his Bachelor’s degree in Process Equipment and Control Engineering from Northeastern University, Shenyang, China, in 2019. Now, he is currently working towards a Ph. D. degree in the State Key Laboratory of Robotics, Shenyang Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shenyang, China.
SUO Jiao received her Bachelor's degree in Metallic Material Engineering and Master's degree in Materialogy from Wuhan University, Hubei, China, in 2016 and 2019，respectively. She is currently working towards a Ph. D. degree at City University of Hong Kong
Donghai Yang received his BS degree in Automotive Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Turin in 2018, M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from City University of Hong Kong in 2019, then worked as a Research Assistant at CityU after graduation. He is currently pursuing his PhD degree in City University of Hong Kong. His research interests include MEMS Mirror, LiDAR, electronic control and deep learning.
Sun Hui received his B.E degree from Sichuan Agricultural University in 2016. Master degree in control theroy and control engineering from Northeastern University in 2020. He is currently a Ph.D student at the Dept. of Mechanical Engineering of the City University of Hong Kong. His current research interests are in the area of image processing and single-cell and biomechanical analyses.
Hou Senlin received his B.S degree from Shanxi Agricultural University in 2017, Master degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University, Shenyang, China, in 2020. After that, He joined Edan Instrument Inc as a medical device R&D engineer for 7 months. He is currently a Ph.D student at the Dept. of Mechanical Engineering of the City University of Hong Kong.
Qingjiu Chen received his BS degree of Mechanic Engineering from Southeast University in 2015. Then he worked as an opto-mechanical engineer in HMI-ASML from 2015 to 2020. Currently he is a PhD student of City University of Hong Kong. His research interests include optical-mechanical design, sensors, and related metrology.
Zhang Hongyu received her B.E degree from Shenyang Aerospace University in 2017. Master degree in control engineering from Yanshan University in 2020, then worked as a Research Assistant at Northeastern University after graduation. She is currently a Ph.D student at the Dept. of Mechanical Engineering of the City University of Hong Kong. Her current research interests are in the area of data analysis and machine learning and electrochemistry.
Wang Keer received her Bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in 2021. She is currently a Ph.D student at the Dept. of Mechanical Engineering of the City University of Hong Kong.
